"overall- we would stay here again…. but… found the prices at the hotel extremely overpriced for what level of food was provided. room service breakfast was awful- lattes could not be drank , fruit bowl was disgusting with fruit what was not ripe. breakfast for two was $120. room was nice - but there was “stuff” stuck to the ceiling over the bed- we told housekeeping staff but it did not get cleaned . Iker- valet- 10/10 love him. he really made our stay. front desk gentleman was blah and not very personable. Five sails was lovely- great food and service ( what you expect for fine dining !) would stay again- would not eat at the property. make sure to get harbour view ! "

"The hotel was under construction so many things were not available. We were given instructions of where to park and it was not clear, so we ended up in the wrong place due to the construction was in the driveway area to get to the parking garage. Breakfast was served every morning. The hotel is located conveniently to things which made walking easy. If we would have known the hotel was under construction we probably would have stayed some place else. I think when the construction is done it will be nice. "

"The first disappointment was after reading that parking is free and included for hotel guests. As someone who is not familiar with the area, I was not aware that I needed to check the hockey game schedule. Upon arrival, I was greated with a sign stating "parking garage is full." This is a regular enough occurrence that the hotel staff hands you a printed card with alternative parking options. I spend the next hour downloading apps and trying to pay for parking only to end up using the surface lot kiosk that onfirms my parking validation runs out at 6 am with no option to extend. It was after 10 pm. Sweet. Having already stashed my bag in the room I made the hike back to the hotel and was greeted with my second and arguably greater disappointment. Because at this point I needed to use the restroom. Well, surprise! That "communal" facility in the description is very communal, as in, only 1 toilet per floor. Thank goodness there is a separate bath tub though. That's useful when you're doing the pee pee dance in the middle of the hallway at 1030 pm and at this point just want to lay down because you know that you have to be up super early to avoid any parking penalties. Thus begins the hunt for an open toilet on another floor. Double sweet. Speaking of double or "twin", that was the description of the bed in the room I booked. Final disappointment, it was not. It's a single. Comically enough the staff asked me to list my companions on arrival. Like I was going to share the bed. "

"We would recommend Keefer House. Clean, quiet, very comfortable bed. Our only negative comment is that due to the number of drug addicts we were not completely comfortable walking more than a couple of blocks but Keefer House was very upfront about the neighborhood beforehand. Some very interesting history to the building and parks nearby."
