"I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!"

"This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect: Right next to downtown Cornucopia (so you can find basic items easily), and just minutes from some of the coolest trails in the area. We stayed with two of us and our two pups. The pups adored the cabin and settled right in. The cabin is really adorable and cozy, very clean and updated, and has everything you need (including a well-equipped kitchen). It was easy to communicate with Erin. "Have you ever booked a place, driven 5 hours, and then arrived to find out it wasn't as pictures showed. The minute I pulled up for my week long solitude retreat this place felt like home. I brought my inflatable kayak, a bunch of books & art supplies, and comfort food.....and it was a great way to just chill. Decided to venture out to Brule River for some hiking and kayaking adventures, and did not dissappoint! Great location, Great Spot, and perfect for a solo getaway."

"We really enjoyed our cabin that is off the beaten path. Very secluded and peaceful. We visited the Apostle Islands, did some cave kayaking and toured North Shore all the way up to Tettegouche State Park. We couldn't enjoy a campfire due to the takeover by mosquitoes and ticks but they are always nasty in the spring and it has been wetter than normal."
