This was explained upon checkout by a very helpful lady on the desk, having already requested a quiet room which was allocated accordingly only to be changed due to the room door access not working. "It’s a lovely hotel in an extremely convenient location, right across from the subway station that whisks you to the center of Milan in just a few minutes.
