"The hotel is a jewel, just steps from Piazza Vanucci. There are two terrasses on upper floors, as well as a beautiful lounge where you can relax and read. The staff was very helpful, from recommending restaurants to arranging taxi service back to the parking garage at the end of our stay. The hotel is inside the walls of the historic centre and within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. However, parking inside the centre is reserved for local residents only. It’s an uphill hike to the hotel. Make arrangements ahead of time to get a cab to the hotel. Overall, good value for the money, especially since breakfast is included."

"We stayed for 4 nights and were very satisfied. The location is great: just a minute’s walk from the bus terminal (perfect for our day trip to Assisi) and easy escalator access to the city center. Rooms were spacious for a European hotel, and the modern facilities are well-maintained. The included breakfast was satisfactory. Note that the gym and pool require an extra fee - I didn’t have time to use them anyway, but it was a bit surprising. "

"We had a wonderful stay here in the heart of historic Perugia. It was close to everything but at the same time a nice distance from the crowds and noisy tourist area. The apt was very large with spectacular views just as the listing states and shows. It had everything you would ever need with a fully stocked kitchen. Coffee, juice, water bottles, two types of biscuits and beautiful fresh oranges were stocked for our arrival. The hosts Ruebens and Luisa are very gracious with lots of tips about the area as well as the history. They live in an apt right upstairs and are available for any questions. You must be able to climb 50 stairs to stay here though as there is no lift. Highly recommend staying here if you visit the beautiful historic town of Perugia."
