"The staff was friendly and professional. However, for the price, I expected more from the room. It was quite small, and the shower had not been renovated. There was peeling paint on the walls, holes in the ceiling, and overall, the finishes felt poorly done. The room also lacked a fridge, and there was no breakfast included, which was disappointing. You’re essentially paying for the location here. I would consider other hotels in the area."

"We arrived in Barcelona and took the shuttle (extra cost worth it) from the airport to the hotel. This is a must otherwise you will be dropped over with a good 15 minute walk with luggage down cobblestone streets. Only special taxi can go down the tiny streets. We were welcomed by lovely reception who answered any questions about what to see in our time frame to places to eat. Our room was absolutely beautiful and very clean (Room #17). I opened the balcony doors and looked down the streets and fell in love instantly. Especially on Saturday morning when the sun shined down on the church at the end of the street where artist had their work on display to purchase. Make sure you use the bathtub to soak in after all the walking. It was so relaxing. We will definitely be back one day."

For our first trip to Barcelona it was great, walkable distance to many things and a metro stop literally at the front doors - you can access the entire city without having to put too much thought into it. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "
