"The biggest selling point with the Grand Olympic is it's location - you are only a 10 minute walk to St Peter's Square and the Vatican museum, etc. Also, plenty of shops and restaurants around the corner and a 25 minute walk to the main shopping area. The hotel wasn't 4 star compared to UK 4 star hotels but it was perfectly fine for us. The room had excellent aircon, the bathroom was in great condition, shower was very warm at night but cold in the morning. The breakfast is included and was perfectly adequate to start you off on your day. Nothing hot but continental choices, lovely croissants, as much tea or coffee as you wanted, cereal etc. Again, not the Ritz but for the price it was great. Staff were helpful and welcoming. If we return I would book again. "

"I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic—within walking distance to major attractions, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and overall, the hotel provided a comfortable experience. One of the highlights was the buffet. The food was excellent, with a great variety to choose from, and the staff made the experience even better with their warm and attentive service. The terrace by the buffet was an unexpected delight, offering a breathtaking view of Saint Peter's Dome—a perfect backdrop to enjoy a meal. The only minor issue I encountered was that the toilet in our room didn’t flush properly, which was a bit inconvenient. It wasn’t a major problem, but it’s something that could be improved for an even better stay. Despite this small setback, I would still recommend the hotel for its great location, welcoming atmosphere, and fantastic dining experience. "

"Elisabetta and her team at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early in the morning and they held our luggage so we could enjoy the city until our room was ready. The breakfast was delightful- great selections of croissants, meat, cheese, fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and tasty coffee. There was an elevator to help with baggage, although the beautiful old marble steps were lovely to occasionally climb. As are most accommodations in Europe, the room and bathroom were a little on the smaller side, but this did not detract from a great experience. Everything was clean with fresh towels daily and cold water provided in the mini fridge. The location is perfect and walkable to most attractions, with bus stops a few steps away in the street. Also several restaurants very close by and the staff were always helpful in giving recommendations. Will absolutely recommend to friends and visit again for future trips!"

"Great place close to everything. Great gelato shop very close. Close to metro and Vatican/castel st angelo. Room was very clean and got recommendations for restaurants, etc. Owner messaged daily to ask if we needed anything or room cleaned/towels. Great stay."
