"We have stayed at Torel for two nights in July. This was a to celebrate special occasion and it was worth it. The hotel is on hills where the Douro (Port) wine grapes are cultivated and it has a beautiful view of this world heritage site. The room is very comfortable. The hotel has two restaurants. Both are good but the smaller one (Schisto) is a really good (soon to be)Michelin star restaurant. Really worth the experience. "

"The property is so tranquil and relaxing with beautiful views of the valley & river. The hosts Paul & Valeria made us feel so welcome. Very friendly and helpful with all our needs. With only 4 rooms currently, the place is intimate and at times all to yourself. Beautiful infinity pool, wood burning hot tub & sauna all with outstanding views. I would love to return when everything is in bloom. Highly recommend Quinta de Raj!! "

Une entreprise familiale qui aime le service parfait et tout les petites attrention y sont inclus.Merci a Poalo pour son acceuil chaleureux et ces recommandation.Le site est super bien situer au sommet vis a vis le douro , parfait pour les coucher de soleil. "Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "

"O hotel fica na Quinta do Portal, uma casa de fazenda bem adaptada para hotel. O quarto e wc grande, varanda e bem decorada. O café da manhã maravilhoso. Um detalhe só, as estrada do restaurante para o hotel por 2 vezes ficou bloqueada por carros entregando mercadoria para o restaurante e tivemos que esperar a operação. O jantar menu degustação vale muito a pena"
