The walls had faded frescoes throughout building. Excellent staff as noted earlier. Ricardo so excellent and patient to every visitor. Bedding excellent with modern bathroom

I didn't see the staff, you have to follow instructions but it's pretty easy. The room was modern and updated. It was great!

Great , big room , recently renovated facilities (bathroom, shower). Very peaceful place to stay. Nice view inner courtyard convent. Comfy bed. Very clean. Very quiet. Great location, closer to restaurants and museums, churches. Staff very pleasant and helpful with advices. Breakfast provided was good. Good coffee and juice, yogurt.

I was in room 6 on the top floor, which was a climb, but was rewarded with perhaps the most beautiful view ever - the valley, the vinyards - it was worth the climb.

Le Aquile is so central to Il Campo and right in the heart of Siena but the rooms are really quiet and tranquil. The building is beautiful and historic and the rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Ada and Massimo couldn’t have been more helpful and gave great recommendations for local restaurants and tourist attractions. We ended up extending our 3 days to 5 days. The check in experience was great. The reception staff was very nice. The room was very clean. The only thing that could be better is the shower space. Not much space to take a shower comfortably.

Absolutely breathtaking!!! The rooms, the view the service and the location. WOW!! And Salvatore is an absolute gem. We were unsure of how to get there and so he told us to call him when we were nearing the hotel and he stayed with me on the phone and guided our every turn. He waited for us outside so we wouldn’t miss it. Talk about outstanding service. Every room is so charming and tastefully decorated and has the most beautiful views. And just a short and beautiful walk to get to the center....
