PV is what you make it. You can chill on the beach, walk the neighborhoods, and shop to your hearts content. However, the nightlife can be crazy. Visit the many Broadway Reviews and check out El Centro for some culture. You can find fun!

The old town gets busier every year. If you can stay away from Basilio badillo there are many good little restaurants and bars available. The malecon is always an enjoyable walk, especially in the evening when all the vendors are set up.

It is an extremely popular destination and has grown in population over the past 5-6 years. The hillsides in town are filled with mid and high rise condominium towers now. Traffic is heavier during the day now than it was back then.
