"Stayed for a couple of weeks whilst our house was rewired. Nice part of the world, comfortable accommodation, wasn't rushing to go home. Though I live in Worcester it was nice to explore this part of the county. "

"Fabulous property and hosts - everything you need for a great stay in the area"

"We had no hot water the whole time we were there. You cant get hold of the owner, they don't seem to care. Also there are no fans provided and the pod retains heat so it unbearable in the hot days. "

"Great location very quiet loads of walks on your doorstep, accommodation very clean and tidy excellent views , hosts very helpful. Would recommend anyone to stay at this property you will not be disappointed. "

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"Lovely views the hosts were very welcoming. The wild life was great its not everyday that you can be sitting outside, with deer wondering through your back garden . "We had a lovely stay and the host was very helpful throughout. The location was perfect, near to amenities of the Town Centre."

"Really lovely place to stay, it was a great holiday home, literally smack bang in the middle of the Forrest of Dean so most things were only a 5 mins car ride or 15 mins on the bike. Owners provided everything we needed, would definitely recommend"

"We loved our stay at Merryview, the location is stunningly beautiful! The bungalow was warm and inviting, everything was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfy. Kitchen and laundry facilities were excellent and the little welcome pack was a lovely thought. If you're looking for a quiet, rural, undisturbed stay we can definitely recommend!"

"We had a very relaxing time, the road is quite busy, otherwise it is in a good location.The owners are very obliging and want you to enjoy your stay."

"Property was so cosy and clean. The views were to die for. Extremely remote snd lovely and quiet but not too far to be able to drive to certain places. Thankfully the owner of the property made our stay work after the booking agent hadnt informed her we were coming as she had no knowledge we were booked in."
