Ranches in Putnam County

It is a historic three story home built in the 1800’s on 9 acres. The 6 rooms are richly appointed. The area is surrounded by corn fields. The owner, Hans is an excellent friendly host and a first class musician. He also serves as a breakfast chef and serves french toast from a family secret recipe. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if luckily our travels bring us back to the area. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this hotel! I think it was probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed, and the beds were super comfortable in a large room. The location is ideal (we came for the festival). A restaurant is located in the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice room - but check-in was a nightmare. The key did not scan - so we pulled our suitcase back down to the front desk - they swiped the key again, acted like we were cray and didn't know how to operate the room key and sent us back up to try again. The key did not work. We pulled our suitcase down to the lobby again. The gentleman at the desk acted like we weren't doing something correct and swiped the key again and handed it to me. easy check in, and out. the room is welcoming, as well as , the staff. I wish I could of stayed longer, but looking forward to the next time I stay.

Great breakfast when everyone else has backed off, I miss the complimentary newspaper, I miss the area info that used to be in every room. Internet sign in was confusing, the correct pathway is little tiny boxes on a cell phone. I got the impression the chain was phishing for the $3.99 sign in. Had to call the desk and seek guidance as I’m a Hilton member.

Enjoyed the cleanliness and how accessible it was to the interstate. The area was very nice!

Our property of choice when visiting family brings us to the Terre Haute area. Clean, comfortable and friendly/helpful staff.

There nothing not to like. I should have booked through the hotel versus Expedia. I would have saved $117.89.

We always love staying here when we fly out for our vacations. Very clean amd the staff has always been amazing...

Brand new hotel, very clean, everything working perfectly. Liked being able to set A/C fan to continuous operation - a bit of white noise helps sleep. Bed had nice quilt - some hotels don't put on enough blankets. Only downsides were no fan in bathroom so hard to unfog mirror after showering, and the all-too-common leadfoot in the room upstairs early in the morning.
