The property needs big improvements as it can be very hot in summer days! fan was supplied but didn't help much, we had ground floor room couldn't leave the curtains & window open as no net to keep flies away and to have privacy as can see people traffic outside your room window. Lovely surroundings to have picnic."

"Very convenient location, close to M11 (5 min drive) and Park and Ride (10 min walk) but noise wasn't an issue as it was constant in the back ground, almost white noise. Rooms good, clean and with a bit of character. Grounds of the house lovely with avenue of trees to drive up to the building, and walk clearly signposted to local pub (20 mins walk, mainly through fields and woodland). Very pleasant stay."

"Cheap and cheerful which was just what we needed after a long day of travelling. It was quiet despite being so close to the motorway. There were some snacks available to buy but we ate in the services instead."
