"Pros: great location, nice pool area, clean room, price good for the area, friendly staff. Cons: ice machine near our room broken, one of the elevators was out of order, bed uncomfortably firm, despite the website saying they had dinner inside the only food choices were from the poolside bar. Still waiting on the itemized bill, believe we were overcharged on “extras”."

"This was our first Key West visit. We wanted an ocean and a beach and you get that here. If you want a nice low key getaway, they have a great pool, restaurant and bars, you really do not have to leave. If you want to go into town they offer a shuttle to the Waterfront Brewery and to the airport. It was a bit more of a walk to Duvall Street than I expected, so pack the right shoes. Overall, it’s a great spot. If you want to be in the middle is the night light, this isn’t for you. I highly recommend taking the trolley train, to get a tour and get around. There is more to see than you realize."
Blue Flamingo Resort Key West

"This hotel is closer to the Key West airport than it is to downtown. This did not matter since the hotel is like a vacation all on its own. With 2 pools and and outdoor bars as well as games on site there is less of a need to go downtown. I arrived at the hotel before the official check in time and they still provided me a room. The room was a decent size and had all the amenities I expected. There is a free hotel shuttle that will take you downtown at the top of every hour and also bring you back. For breakfast I skipped the options at the outdoor bars and instead went to the Starbucks onsite. I regretted this and next time I will just order from the hotel. Breakfast is not included. In summary, despite breakfast I cannot wait to stay at this hotel again!"

"Booked here last minute due to our Vrbo being canceled - Can't say enough nice things about it! - Yes, the rooms are very small and the hallways are a bit older but this place is gorgeous! Pools are excellent and the staff is too. Only thing is if you like breakfast, go out. It's bland and boring at best."

"The location was in great for walking to duval street and other areas. The check in process was a bit chaotic. Our room was double booked, but they got it fixed right away. They have a beach on property but it was not swimmable. The ocean was muddy and the seaweed smelled bad. The pool was a good time."
