Lovely well maintained property. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold options. Room was spacious and clean, comfy beds great water pressure in the shower. Plenty of seating outside each room and in the commons areas and if you are lucky enough one of the resident cats will grace you permission for pets.

When we got to the heron house and got to our room it was clean. During our stay the only thing that was done we were given clean towels. Our floor was not swept or mopped. The staff when we arrived on a Wednesday was wonderful. He was accommodating and very pleasant. Now on Friday the gentleman that was on during the day was a little rude. I asked about happy hour and he said oh he forgot and he was leaving. Saturday was only a pitcher of as he put it cheap sangria. Not impressed. The outdoor pool was very nice. We weren’t concerned with parking as we had no car. All in all the heron house is just ok for the money they charge.

So happy to have a breakfast included, the fresh fruit was wonderful and the coffee was good! Great walkable location and the staff was gracious to let us check in a few hours early, so we didn’t have to take our luggage around with us.

We loved our stay here in historic key west! The pool and outside patio area is beautiful and well kept. We loved being able to walk everywhere - this is just a few blocks from duval street, and maybe 10 minutes to the pier and marina. Staff is also very nice and welcoming! We would definitely stay again!
