"You know I was staying in San Diego again, this time with my girlfriend. We had the king suite which was inside the building above the lobby. Really liked the room a lot very spacious, but it was a great place to hang my hat at night. It was close to old town. It was close to Seaworld and that’s pretty much what I was doing this weekend. The staff is amazing. They were really cool on Wednesday when I was there to spend the night to see Guns N’ Roses, and they agreed again for the just chill holiday weekend."

"Everything was clean. The room was a little old though. The tub and bathroom were dated. Breakfast was not good, cold scrambled eggs and sausages, and old dry bread. Coffee is good, Also the cookies at the reception were fresh and the hot drinks were good. The rooms are quiet, which is my top priority."

"Property was family friendly and had plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Location is perfect for getting around San Diego. Rooms were clean and had good views. Only downside was the shower toilet room were super small. Also the room doors were no level so you could hear every dooor on slam closed. Overall great Labor Day trip with the family"
La Jolla Shores Hotel

"We stayed at the La Jolla Shores Hotel for the second week of our California vacation after a week at Disneyland. It was a much needed retreat after a busy week in the parks. The building and rooms are clearly aging and the bathroom could definitely use work but we chose this hotel for the beautiful location and easy beach access. Th restaurant was wonderful and we enjoy wonderful views and sunsets."

"Enjoyed the stay. Room was very clean and odor free. We had a room close to the elevators but couldn't hear any noise. The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were soft and clean. Enjoyed the morning breakfast. It had something that each of us liked. Location was great. Freeway was close and easily accessible for us. I would recommend staying here. Dwayne Davis"
