"We were a bit disappointed with this. I’d say the pictures on the site are very flattering. We arrived in the evening to lots of building and maintenance materials outside the front and in the entrance area. Not the best start. The member of staff who met us was pleasant and helpful. The room was only ok, clean enough but not great. It was just for one stopover for an early flight and the location for that purpose is good. "Lovely situation - large room that was clean. However walking in it felt quite down at heel, a bit like a scruffy airport waiting area. We ate in the restaurant on arrival - the food was edible. However, the staff at reception and in the restaurant were welcoming and attentive."

"The Cambridge is a gem, so glad I found it. Location is very central for station and civic amenities and walking distance from proper pubs! It's in an older, quieter part of town so there is lots to see and decent places to eat. The rooms are just as good as Premier Inn (where I usually stay when in Huddersfield) and half the price. Parking underneath the hotel is fab and access will be much improved when the road works are finished."
