"Nice property in a bad,ish area"

"One night stay after our train trip and before our cruise, in an excellent location for both. Staff friendly and helpful. Room is a great size with lots of original features. Would recommend. "

"This is the first class property. And also first class staff. My wife and I bought a bottle of wine at dinner. By the end of dinner, we thought that we drank three bottles of wine. The reason why is because every time we took a sip or two the waiter would come and refill our glasses. Or I should say waiters. He was there so many times and was so attentive that we literally thought we drink three bottles of wine. It was a very beautiful experience. I was impressed with the property and the people."

"Lovely hotel in the traditional Italian Riviera style. Staff could not have been more helpful. Food and service were excellent. Only criticism was the lack of a shuttle service to the centre of town which, given the position of the hotel on top of a hill, the high cost of local taxis and the high temperatures, made it difficult for older customers or those with mobility difficulties."
