"The hotel's location is very convenient for those flying in or out of Amsterdam Airport and the complementary airport shuttle (running once every 30 minutes) was very much appreciated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and laid out very well. The television provided a large number of channel selections. There is a restaurant on-site, but we did not dine there as a McDonalds was just a few hundred feet from the hotel lobby. We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Amsterdam."

"Been a few times before. Good quality hotel. Especially liked (new since last visit?) being able to connect my phone to the hotel telly. So I could watch my own Netflix and YouTube on there. Also really liked the USB charging ports as part of the plug sockets. Big bathroom, loved the shower."

"We arrived early for our stay (due to an early flight). We stored our luggage for free in the luggage store. We had a slight concern about the room as it wasn't locked, but it was directly opposite reception, so hopefully any 'dodgy' characters may have been noticed. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a decent size for the 2 of us, and was clean. We had chosen not to have the room cleaned during our stay, and were surprised to find this entitled us to discount vouchers for the restaurant in the adjoining Holiday Inn (the Express has breakfast facilities, but doesn't cater for evening meals). We had one meal in the restaurant, which was good - fairly expensive, but the vouchers made it more reasonable. The 'free' breakfast choice was reasonable - continental, scrambled egg, toast, yogurt, fruit etc. The location is good. Generally a quiet area. It's a short walk to the nearby station, with a short journey to the main tourist areas. Would definitely recommend."
