"We enjoyed our stay and the location is beautiful if not a bit remote but we knew that going in. I realize its a very old house but a few things definitely need updating. The mirror in the downstairs bathroom is basically useless old and fogged over. The kitchen pots and pans were pretty dirty we had to wash before we used it. Its in a beautiful place and owner is very nice and interesting just need a few TLC touches and a good cleaning."

"We chose this smaller town because of it's proximity to hiking on Mt. Etna. It was exactly what we expected and worked out very nicely. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked several meals there. Communication and support from hosts was excellent. We would stay there again."

"The house was fine for our needs. It was clean and the property manager was helpful. The location was excellent with nice views to the distance. There were no bedrooms on the ground level, so everyone had to go up or down to their bedrooms. The pool was a nice add and we did enjoy it."

"Well organised communication from the start. Lovely hosts who went through everything at the start. The property is lovely an old restored very sensitively. Reasonably good location allowing you to access to Etna and the coast. There is no air conditioning so there were a few nights where it was a little uncomfortable. You do need to rent a car to explore from here to make the best if what Sicily has to offer."
