Great place overall, with everything you need. Location is not bad, but a little bit far and a little impractical if you're planning to use public transport.

The hotel was beautiful and the pictures on the site are spot on with what you get. The staff are exceptionally nice and informative about the area.

My bf and I had an AMAZING stay here! We booked a penthouse suite and it did not disappoint. Great panoramic views of the city, walkable to the Overamstel station, great amenities and great room. Only downside is it is about a 20min train ride to the central area of town so we’ll likely stay closer next time but for a luxury stay, we would highly recommend.

Top notch in all areas of a stay in Amsterdam. Had a corner room with glass on both walls. Just a great feel and elegance to stay. Would have given 6 stars if an option. Can walk to Musueum district. Loads of bike paths. Breakfast buffet quality is a whole new level. Like being between airport and city center.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! the room was just around the corner from the reception desk which was convenient. At times in the evening we could hear a bit of noise . The breakfast was very good! The only compliant is this hotel is on the Eastside which made our travels to the central area a long way (for us) to travel. One must walk a few blocks to get the tram and then travel about 20 to 30 minutes to get around where all the good restaurants are and cancel rides, museums. ...

taking a cab from Centraal station, the cab driver could not find the hotel, when it was really in front of his nose. Once I got there, the experience was great. I was concerned about the distance from the center of the city, but there's a tram that stops right in front of the hotel that takes you right to the center of things. This hotel is about 20 minutes outside of Amsterdam Centra. Its a 3-5 minute walk to the train station that makes it very convenient to get to. The hotel itself is basic, but clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are quite large and have a heated floor. The beds are a bit firm but still comfortable. This hotel is normally priced very well. It's great value for the money. This was my second time staying here and I will definitely continue booking this for my future work trips to Amsterdam.

BEST HOTEL IN AMSTRDAM

The property is unique. The commons areas are welcoming and convenient. We stayed here to be close to the art museums, and if you can dodge the bikers and trams for a five-eight minute walk, you will love the experience. The cocktail spread was all we needed for that evening meal, though we did find nearby restaurants that were fun. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful. Most wonderful was the kindness of the lovely women running the hotel. We felt welcomed in Amsterdam thanks to them.

Excellent selection for a week of travel. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness and condition of the hotel as well as the free breakfast. The access to public train, tram and bus transit is excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The lobby was comfortable and inviting at night.

Exceptionally nice property. Great staff, nice rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was pricey, but it did deliver on quality and variety. And of course a fantastic location and the place is quiet, which we liked.

Really the perfect hotel for the museum tour, in easy walking distance to all of them. The canal is lovely and quiet, tons of busy restaurants in a 4-5 block radius, lively night-life, friendly, busy, fun. Lobby recently renovated and very enjoyable with a view of the canal -- the breakfast service is superlative. What's not to love? If you stay, book a panoramic room, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel and could not have loved it more. The location is perfect for walking and exploring all different parts of the city. Dam Square, The Red Light District, The Anne Frank house, The Heineken Experience, and The Rijksmuseum area were all within walking distance; some closer than others.
