"Much better than I expected (maybe my vision of what a hostel was may have been off). I did not realize it is on the old military base (we drove through the old gate). Yes, it's an older building, but it's very well kept up. It was clean and quiet. Parking was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had lots of space (we had a room with a private bathroom). Great location for getting to the airport at 6am next morning. "

We thought for sure we were going to be stuck at the airport, but the manager of the hotel not only answered our call, but found a driver to pick us up! I have never stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world that would go so far to help their guests. We are so grateful and will return to this hotel each time we visit Iceland. "
