"Did not feel particularly comfortable in the area, lots of people outside watching. The hotel was in renovation so had to go in this back door with a lot of sketchy looking people always by the door. Inside of hotel was nice. Room was nice and comfortable and close to airport for our early flight home"

"Much better than I expected (maybe my vision of what a hostel was may have been off). I did not realize it is on the old military base (we drove through the old gate). Yes, it's an older building, but it's very well kept up. It was clean and quiet. Parking was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had lots of space (we had a room with a private bathroom). Great location for getting to the airport at 6am next morning. "

"This hotel is a lovely gem, right on the sea and a quick drive from the airport. But the most amazing part is the staff. Our flight was delayed and we arrived extremely late. Nearly 1:00 am. We thought for sure we were going to be stuck at the airport, but the manager of the hotel not only answered our call, but found a driver to pick us up! I have never stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world that would go so far to help their guests. We are so grateful and will return to this hotel each time we visit Iceland. "
