"Me and my husband stayed for two nights while exploring Amsterdam. It is a bit outside the centre, but with the public transit system being so good we didnt have a problem getting around. The staff were nice and helpful, though sometimes not able to locate. Not too many amenities, but there was a ramen vending machine and one for drinks (incl wine and beer). Glasses for coffee were not super clean so we passed. The room itself was nice, bed was comfortable and there was enough space to do what we needed to do. However, the rooms are close together and you can hear pretty much everything the guests staying next to you are doing. It would be good if people were better informed on how much the sound travels so they could be more considerate. We found hair in our bedding that didnt belong to us. Other than that the room was clean."

"The best part of this hotel was the staff, they were amazing!! At all hours of the day or night they were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our reservation, it did not appear in their system, but they made it work. We also took advantage of the laundry service, they were able to wash some of our clothes, it was not as expensive as other hotels. Though it is not in the city center, there is a tram station nearby and the tram took us right where we needed to go. Also, there is a 24-hour McDonalds next door which we appreciated. We had the breakfast option at the hotel, their hall is nicely decorated and comfy, a great variety, the best one out of all the hotels we had in this tip. A great stay all in all"

"The train station isn’t far and they have bike rental options. Very cute town of Hoofddorp. The hotel was nice but wish they had one queen mattress instead of two double bed mattresses. Bathroom was very clean"

"For such an expensive hotel, I was disappointed that so many things went wrong just on a one night stay. When I checked in at 11:30 at night tired from a long flight, I was immediately asked to handover my passport or driving license as an identification. Not that I mind doing that, but the way I was asked, without a friendly welcome felt rather abrupt. When it came to leaving the deposit, two cards were rejected, that both turned out to have adequate funds on it, and then from my credit card that did work in their system, the deposit was taken out twice. Something the staff was reluctant to admit until I showed them my credit card app. When I came to the room, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, which is to say the browser window didn’t come up so that I could logon. I’ve stayed at many hotels where this is not been a problem, and I know how it works, so it was rather annoying that this was not working as it should. Breakfast in the room in the morning was another disappointment, because part of the order was missing. And when I called down to ask for them to bring the missing part of the order, I was made to feel like they were doing me a favour bringing it up. Once again, none of these things were the end of the world kind of problems, but really not something I expect in it five star or four star Hotel. When I asked when the deposit would be returned they said it could take a couple of days and that that was because of my bank, which is my experience with other Hotels."

"The reception staff was very helpful. We went to the restaurant at 16:50 and were told to leave by the manager. He was rude and unprofessional, therefore we did not eat there. This hotel is not up to Marriott standards- the room was worn and stained carpet. The towels were like sandpaper. The shuttle was helpful. I would not stay here again. . "
