Beautiful boat trip from downtown Lucerne to experience city life and nice to come back and wind down in quiet mountainside just below the summit of Mount Rigi. Host was very hospitable with lots of tips and recommendations for the local area."

"We had an overall lovely stay. The location is close to Lucerne, but car/bus not walking distance. Very spacious house, with 5.5 bedrooms (the 0.5 is one room with a bunk bed is attached to another one of the rooms) that could easily sleep 11 people - so it was very comfortable for our group of 6. The kitchen was also fairly well stocked (including oils and spices), which made cooking some meals easy. There was a toilet with a known clogging problem, but no plunger in the house. "Mike's home is beautifully designed and appears to be either newly built or recently remodeled. It is gorgeous and very comfortable! The kitchen is well stocked with new high-end dishes, glassware, pots/pans, and appliances. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The washer and dryer are also new and worked well. With 3 balconies and 3 interior levels there are great spaces to congregate as a family and get some alone time. "The room was clean and had all the necessities. The kitchen had silverware, plates, pots, pans, and an espresso machine. The bathroom was clean, and the tub was spacious. The bed was comfortable. However, the pull-out bed was uncomfortable and tilted to one side. Additionally, customer service was terrific. They even do your laundry. Overall, I loved my stay here. "
