"Location on the University campus was great. Plenty of wildlife in the surrounding area - rabbits & squirrels. Nice room with good facilities. Good breakfast with lovely staff. Plenty of parking with EV charging stations."

"Our stay was very enjoyable, the main body of the Hotel is amazing. With extra helpful Staff and excellent facilities. The Breakfast was Good quality and with a wide choice of food and Drinks. If it had a downside the rooms were pretty basic and in need of upgrading."

"Staff were wonderfully welcome a d even gave us a welcome drink! Lovely clean, modern rooms. The cafe bit was unmanned in the morning despite being open, so a shame we couldn't grab a coffee from the hotel to take away on our drive. Would stay again and a very convenient city centre location (especially for the trains)."

"Overall great hotel location, lovely downstairs area, clean and spacious room. Areas are a little bit worn and could do with some fixing up or TLC. The young lady at front desk wasn't super warm but checked me in mega fast (I don't really like conversation but a friendly hello wouldn't have gone a miss). Overall would stay again, had a great sleep! And lots of parking!"

"The room was surprisingly spacious for an Express hotel. The storage space and shelving was well thought out. A huge bed and big comfy chair and table. The shower room was very clean and well maintained. The bedroom was generally clean but there were some tea stains on the carpet under the shelving. I also noticed an old wrist band down behind the bedside table which had clearly been missed during cleaning. The reception, bar and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. It was an especially late night/early morning finish for the bar staff on Saturday night which was much appreciated by some members of our party. The hotel was very busy but there was a good amount of parking spaces provided."
