Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort

"Overall, we had a very good stay. The food was good, our room was excellent, and the service throughout most of the hotel was wonderful. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk was disappointing. We noticed what appeared to be inconsistent treatment of guests. For example, some guests were warned that the ice was unfiltered/not recommended, while others were not given that important information. We also observed some guests receiving complimentary drink tickets while others did not. What was especially concerning to us was that, based on what we personally observed, white guests appeared to be receiving these perks and information more consistently than guests of color. This left us with a troubling impression of unequal treatment and possible bias/colorism at the front desk. We otherwise really enjoyed the hotel, which is why I hope management takes this concern seriously and ensures that all guests receive the same information, courtesy, and benefits regardless of race or skin color."

"The property was as advertised and worth what I paid. The location is awesome. There are walkable beaches on both sides of the property and a pier with a bar on the property. The pool is great for kids and there is a section of the sea roped off on the side of the pier which is great for swimming and lounging that I really enjoyed. On the down side, there was construction going on while I was there, which did not bother me too much, however you may want to check the status of it if you plan to stay in the garden view area. Also I am not a big fan of karaoke which they seem to frequently host on the pier bar."

"Truly the most beautiful beach we saw during our entire time on the island. This private island is absolutely gorgeous. The beach alone makes it worth the visit. The rooms could use some updating, and the food felt more like filler food than anything memorable. That said, the drinks kept coming and the beach was easily the best we experienced anywhere on the island. If you want to avoid crowds and simply enjoy a stunning beach in a peaceful setting, this resort is a great choice. Unfortunately, you will need to wait for them to rebuild. The resort actually burned to the ground the same day we checked out. Quite a shocking end to an otherwise beautiful stay."
