"My husband and I absolutely loved staying at the Temple Tree House! Everything from the decor, to the multiple balconies, cool breeze, ample sunlight, having a full kitchen, the location, view and being surrounded by nature was what we needed to truly relax. The owner Suzanne was so welcoming and friendly and was the ultimate host ensuring everything we needed was taken care of and even invited us over to the larger house for sunset with a few friends and other visitors. The Property Manager, Jose, is also very welcoming and super helpful and even called the local produce truck for fresh fruit which was way better than what’s available at the stores. Jose also brought over fresh eggs from his chickens when we arrived. They both made us feel safe, taken care of and able to relax and unwind in the treehouse space. One of the property cats, Jack, immediately befriended us and we loved having his company daily as we missed our pets at home. We are avid scuba divers so it was an easy walk down the beach to Sandy Bay Divers who we definitely recommend for diving. The Bahia and Sunken Fish restaurants are also walking distance and both have great staff and food! Everything was very convenient from this location and we loved the homey and rustic feel rather than a large resort and the location just far enough yet close enough to the main tourist areas. We would definitely return to the Temple Treehouse and recommend this relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of life! "

"The host was great, providing all needed information and regularly checking in with us to see if we needed anything. The staff was reachable at all times and helped with anything we needed. The property had all the amenities expected plus some. I would definitely stay again as it was an exceptional location and had some of the best views!"

"Blue Bahia feels like family. We quickly learned every staff member’s name, and they made us feel at home. Becca set up a WhatsApp group for us before arrival, ensuring fast, helpful communication. Her daily messages with restaurant specials, entertainment, Roatan history, and local happenings were very useful, including specials from other local restaurants. Our room, The Wave, was spacious, with a full kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table, living room, large bedroom, closet, and a bathroom with double sinks. AC units in both rooms made for comfortable nights The resort’s small size meant it was never crowded, and help was always available. We had a rental car but could have used local cabs—West End and West Bay are close and affordable, and Libby was a great driver. The location is ideal for exploring gardens, nature parks, and avoiding cruise ship crowds. The beach has soft sand, reclining chairs, free paddle boards and kayaks and the reef is an easy swim (or use kayak/paddleboard to get to the reef and tie off on a buoy) for snorkeling. The pool was always clean and cool. Thanks to Jojo, Johnny, Cesar, Jessie, Jericho, Selema, Carlos, Becca, Kim, and Josh for making us feel welcome. Note: The public beach has some auto traffic, and a few yards into the ocean, the sand turns to silt and sea grass due to conservation rules."
