"Having a car, this was very convenient to stay outside of the walls in order to avoid tight streets and traffic but still close enough to walk to (about 8 minutes). Parking on the street was free which was great as long as you can find a spot. "We found the place unique and loved it for that. An apartment in an old building with great character. We did find it a little dark but otherwise it met our needs for our stay. It was well located and large in size so plenty of room for our things without tripping over them. It was a surprise to have a daily service ensuring we always had towels and supplies. "This place was such a disappointment. It is well-situated in the old, beautiful part of Lecce, but it is poorly cared-for. The floor was dirty when we arrived, and somebody left a cigarette on the nightstand. There were stains on the headboard (from people's heads, I guess), which was pretty gross. We had booked a room overlooking the ampitheatre, and since they had a problem with plumbing at that property, we were seamlessly diverted to another apartment in the historic center. Owners rep. met us at a parking lot outside the walls of Lecce to meet and escort us to the apartment. Excellent hospitality!"

"Great location in old part of town. Beautiful old building built in 1500s. Check in was a bit confusing they accidentally emailed me wrong directions/location and we walked to wrong location, but they did their best and straightened it out quickly. Only possible negatives some might have were a long set of narrow stairs to room and relatively small shower. But we were happy here as these things sometimes come with older, interesting buildings like this"

"The property is not as advertised! We were booked for a 3 night stay and advised property manager that we were going to check out after 2 hours. The property is advertised as 2 bedroom, but its actually a 1 bedroom with a sitting area. Its not well stocked for a stay i.e. one wine glass. The kitchen is a fridge and a hot plate. The toilet handle is broken and U have to fiddle with it to make it flush. We asked for 1 night back and we were told no, only to see it advertised again the next day...

"We stayed for 11 days in this spacious apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lecce. Located just a few steps from the Duomo, it has everything you need. I would highly recommend it. We were surprised however about the 65 steps up to the front door. We are reasonably fit retirees but I think guests need to be warned about the staircase, especially with luggage. However we didn’t let this spoil our holiday."

"Fantastic property with lovely garden and amazing pool. Everything is there you could possibly need including a BBQ. The hosts, Salvatore and Rosy could not be better without being intrusive. They gave us lots of advice about places to visit and eat. We had an amazing meal of local foods cooked by them on our first night brought to us, course after course- amazing! The washing service that Rosy supplied was amazing and so fast! We enjoyed our time so much- we will definitely be returning!!"

"Too many high hidden fees for coming across as a Hotel. The director was very kind and polite. The 2 bedrooms villa was poorly designed. We learnt that the resort has been recently taken over by another owner. With did not have an unpleasant stay but I cannot accept fees that sum up to the cost of an extra night."
