"I love the breakfast. The kitchen staff, housekeeping, hostesses, elevator operators & all rooftop lounge staff were lovely; however, the check-in clerk wasn't kind, she wasn't welcoming. She didn't provide ANY information. The only information received was on-line. I had to learn about the nature of the hotel from everyone else. It would have been a nice gesture if she was informative, but maybe she was having a bad day. The room was tight and way too warm the thermostat was set at between 68-72 degrees Fereinheit period. I would return to this hotel: great location, breakfast, and rooftop lounge all pluses. Times Square is literally right there walking distance in a few minutes. Overall exp. was good! Thank you!"

"Front desk staff nariana( probably spelled wrong, sorry!) was soo helpful and friendly,she went the extra mile to help us!it was a good location to see the city! The hotel definitely was outdated, but it is known for being one of the oldest hotels in manhattan so I wasnt to suprised."

"The hotel room has a thermostat that I tried adjusting several times but the temp didn't seem to be changing--finally asked at the front desk and they said that the heat (or AC) for the entire building only comes on if the outside temperature reaches a certain temp. What year are we in? And why not either disable the thermostats in the rooms or have some signage explaining the situation, instead of trying to fool people into thinking that they're able to control the temp of their room? My room was cold and the window was drafty, had to double up on comforters to sleep. The bar was nice and the bar tender and staff were friendly, and the building is in a good location. But the building itself was not a good experience. Oh and there's no restaurant, despite Expedia listing it as having one."

"I had a wonderful stay at Tempo by Hilton New York Times Square. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, with a bed that made it easy to relax after a long day in the city. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals, making dining convenient and enjoyable. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Times Square, with easy access to theaters, shopping, and attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York. I can't wait for my next trip, definitely booking here again!"

"Great location, friendly front desk, clean room. My only negative comment would be the hotel doors close / slam quite loudly and our floor had no carpet so that sound amplified. Maybe request to be on a carpeted floor or see if they have ear plugs."
