"Generally a very comfortable stay. Given that a lot of the rooms overlook the runway, the soundproofing does a great job of really damping the noise from the nearby planes. It's not silent, but it dulls it down to something like the volume of distant traffic. The staff were helpful and welcoming and the buffet breakfast is pretty impressive. Whilst expensive, the little automated shop in the reception is very handy in a pinch as well. Only downsides were that the air-con in our room was either very weak or not functioning correctly. It wasn't an especially hot evening (under 20 degrees, easily) and despite being set to the coldest setting when we arrived, the room was very warm. Both of us needed to sleep outside the duvet. Similarly, the shower head couldn't be adjusted vertically, which was a bit unhelpful. The shower itself was otherwise excellent in terms of heat and pressure. Also, the location is about as convenient as its possible to be. It's literally next door to the airport train station and Terminal 1."

"Staff were awesome from the first moment to the last. Lovely check-in person and front desk staff. Clean room, clean hallways, fantastic location. Excellent breakfast buffet although very busy one day (but there was a conference)! I definitely recommend the hotel. We are cycling from Copenhagen to Belgrade and stayed in Bratislava 2 nights - I would have stayed 3 if I knew how great it was! I also recommend the Gatto Matto for dinner! Fantastic!"

"Beautiful unique boutique hotel, fully of history & is located in the middle of the Staré Mesto of Bratislava. The hotel is literally a two-minute walk from the main shopping street and St Michael's Gate. Wonderful welcome from reception and given room on third floor with our own lounge and bedroom upstairs. Beautifully furnished with polished wood everywhere. There is a pay for mini bar and fridge, bathroom and separate toilet. Breakfast is included in the price and the choice is beyond anything imaginable totally delicious served from 7 until 10 every morning. There is a spa and wellness centre but it is necessary to book and pay as you go. The fit area is free. Would highly recommend using this hotel it's worth every penny for a special occasion."

"The room was organized and well kept, there was a safe , ironing board a hair dryer, Tv, lamps , a mini fridge, the shower design was new to me as it curtained , in the shower there were shampoo, conditioner, body wash. There was hot and cold water available. The room was Ac and there was a room heater. The bed was comfortable. Room service was conducted everyday. The elevators were great. The breakfast was abundant with a wide variety at hand. The kitchen/restaurant staff was on point with replenishing food items and cleaning. The room utilized key card to access the lights. Key cards were used for the elevator also. The CSR and staff were well attired and very supportive and helpful . The only thing i think can be improved is the sign instructions for accessing the different levels. I stayed in room 406 and using the guide sign in the elevator i needed to depress the 3 button to acces my room. When i did so i could not find my room i had to go back in the elevator and depress 4, so i think they should change the sign to reflect accurately. I am truly greatful to have had the Mariott experience."
