"My husband and I just came back from a week in Exuma, and this place was by far the cleanest most comfortable place we have ever stayed at in the Bahamas. Everything you could possibly need or want was provided by the Charlie the host including a rental car and boat. The house was fully furnished including a wonderful kitchen with all of the utensils and whatever else you needed to cook a meal with. We fell in love with the house and location, it's absolutely beautiful and Charlie and his sweet dog Chloe were the icing on the cake. We will be back next year and hopefully for years to come. "

There are no bustling crowds, no intrusive sounds of traffic, no people – just the raw, magnificent power of the beautiful sea and the cry of seabirds. While remote, it doesn't feel isolated, rather, peacefully secluded. With only 4 or 5 vehicles and a dump truck full of chert (to repair the potholes) passing by the cottage the entire 8 days we visited! The owner went above and beyond with her charming details - local art on the walls, shelves stocked with books, board games and dvds for rainy days. A closet full of fresh linens, beach towels, water toys, a well stocked kitchen with many essentials and modern conveniences. I cant say enouch about this beautiful little escape! "We are a bonefish crew that visits Exuma often. This was by far the nicest place we have stayed. The accommodations were very comfortable and nicely supplied. And, everything was in workong order, which can be uncommon in these islands. Also noted, a backup auto genset is present and came in handy during a long outage. The road to the property os a little rough but we were able to manage with a minivan just fine. Lastly, all the pictures accurately describe the property. "

"My husband and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful location. It was private and incredibly peaceful. We enjoyed kayaking almost every day, and we saw tons of wildlife. Valerie was by far the best host we have ever stayed with. We stayed for two weeks and we could have stayed for two more. If you are looking for privacy in paradise, this is your place. "

"This property wasn’t even on my radar as my searches only include homes with private pools. But since FB spies on my searches, this place popped up in my feed and it looked like everything we were looking for, just without the pool. So, I went ahead and booked it, and it was a great decision! The home itself is wonderful and very functional. The a/c works great which is a must for me and the home had everything we needed for our stay. The view from inside and from the upper deck is breath taking. But the little beach and the water......I love the ocean but it's a little intimidating for me normally. The depth of the water and the clear blue color here was perfect for someone like me. We made great use of the kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. We saw a sting ray, a few fish and saved a starfish that had gotten up too high on the beach. The lounging area on the beach is also perfect for tanning all day long if that's your thing. We enjoyed the relaxation and space here so much that the only place we went was to the grocery store. That's really unusual for us as we like to explore, but we just didn't feel the need to go find other beautiful places while we were sitting at a beautiful place already. The roads are pretty rough, but we wasted money on a jeep since we didn't use it much and a car will make it just fine with some skilled driving, so keep that in mind when pricing rentals.
