Staff were incredibly polite, helpful and patient. If I decide to go to the con in the area again I will choose this hotel in a heartbeat!!! We chose this hotel last minute and we were nervous because there were a couple recent negative reviews. There were 4 of us in our family and couldn't find anything negative to say about the hotel. The only disappointing fact was that the rooftop bar was not open but that wasn't a big deal. Everything was very clean. Hotel is well appointed with beautiful rooms and an elegant, luxurious bathroom. The staff was helpful and the hotel is in the middle of the best shopping abd restaurants in Chicago! Wull definitely be my "go to" hotel in Chitown!

The staff at the Westin were great. From the bellhops to the check in desk to the cleaning staff, everyone was incredibly helpful and kind.

Fun vibe! Great location laid back yet classy.

Excellent hotel, my only complaint would be the Peninsula food service. We ate at the Shanghai Terrace our first night on site and honestly the food was only 2 stars. Specifically the appetizers were minuscule, and 90% pastry dough. Whatever filling was supposed to be inside all the dough largely wasn’t. Our experience at this hotel was marvelous. So much attention to the history of the building, and the staff all shared a real appreciation and love for the place. I felt like I was in Europe, where everything matters, not just how things LOOK.
