"The room clean tidy and well appointed, also slept well. The spa is excellent but adds £20 to your bill per person. We had dinner which was ok, had issues with my steak, however it was dealt with in a professional manor,"

Stonefield Castle Hotel

Stonefield Castle Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Travelling with 84 year old mother with poor mobility. Room and bathroom were easily accessible for all her needs and clean and tidy. Restaurant, bar, library and drawing room were all on the same level so she enjoyed being able to use all the areas. Where there was a small number of steps, front entrance etc. Ramps were in place. Views from the public rooms were excellent as was the loch view from the bedroom. All the surrounding grounds were well kept. Breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea were well presented and tasty. Bar staff were very attentive and knowledgeable and made a great Manhattan ! All the staff, could not do enough to help and frequently checked in with us. My Mum had not been on a trip for a while but really enjoyed her stay and felt like a Queen. Very convenient for Tarbert and surrounding areas. Would suit all ages, active to less active. Would definitely go back."

"Great hotel. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Parking available. Radiator in my room didn’t seem to work unless I told reception (and I assume they did something as it started working shortly after. This happened more than once). Would suggest they put instructions by the toaster at breakfast. Apart from that an excellent stay"
