We really liked staying here! The front desk lady was very kind and the room was perfect. The location made for an easy stroll to Lake Como. Breakfast was terrific and the whole staff was just great. After driving from Germany via the Spludgepass, it was terrific to have a great place to stay.

We did reserve a room with a view of the water but really couldn't see it.and a high floor but got 2nd floor which was fine. Beautiful little courtyard. They gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco and some snacks when we arrived. The room was stocked with a little refridge and everything was complimentary in it except...

We very much enjoyed our stay. Rita takes very good care of you like she is your own Italian Nana. The food at the restaurant is home made by her and delicious. The rooms are nice and our view was great. It is a bit of a walk up the hill from Varenna, but nothing a cold beer won't make you forget. Overall highly recommended.
