"Randomly booked this on Expedia when I took the family to a race at the Speedway. Everything else was booked and this popped up as an option. It was a short drive away. BEAUTIFUL resort! We had the dog with us, but the whole family was pleased with how amazing this place was. I've been in VA my whole life, but have never made my way down to this area. Absolutely gorgeous grounds. There was a wedding party the night we arrived, but the hotel was serene and quiet, I'd come back to the area just to stay at the resort! I really wish we had a day or two to enjoy it. We checked-in late and left early, but it looked beautiful. Nice bar/restaurant (just walked through), bu the pool looked nice too. I think we lucked out with the random booking. I'm giving it 5 stars for what we were expecting. Only negative was the dated TV w/ analog signal that was a little wobbly. Really not worth the mention for the price, but we were only there for a few hours before leaving for kids travel sports early in the morning. Would defintely book again for a longer duration! Two thumbs up!"

"This property was good value for money. We attended an event at DPAP and decided to save money v. pay downtown hotel prices. We were glad we did--a short drive to the venue for a much lower price nice free breakfast, free parking, and the use of their adequate but not fancy outdoor pool. Nice staff, clean public areas and clean room. Would stay there again!"

"Pleasant receptionist was very efficient, everything in the room is attractive and in good shape, thermostat works well, outdoor pool is lovely and quiet. We have no complaints! "

"Standard set of room amenities plus breakfast no lobsters alas but omelette, sausage, biscuits, waffles, coffee 3 roasts x regular/decaf, juice. Kinda a start Beds are nice , 4 great pillows on a bed. Not sure about neighborhood but Entrances to floors require room key. Inside feels safe."
