Hotel National Bern

"The location of this hotel is close to the train station, restaurants, and the nearby attractions are all within walking distance. The bed is comfortable, breakfast is alright, not great. The bathroom is a little small, elevator is old fashion, it was out of order when we arrived, but they repaired it soon. The staffs are friendly. We were concern about the noise at night because it located among the busy streets but turned out OK."

"My most favorite stay during our week long trip all over Switzerland. The setting is beautiful. The perfect location for those wanting to hike Lake Oeschenense. And the restaurant was amazing!"

"This is a small but cozy hotel to the west of the city center. The room was spacious and comfortable with a small bath. The lobby was cozy and the buffet breakfast was good with a number of options. It is close to several tram and bus routes which made it easy to get around. I appreciated being around some greenery in this area of the city. They do not have 24-hour staffing at the front desk so a code is needed to open the door after hours."

"Excellent location! Waking up to the stunning mountain views in the morning was the highlight of our stay. The Resort is peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect place to relax while still being close to Interlaken and other attractions. We truly felt at home and would love to return someday."

"The owner was a bit rude when we checked in. Next day, there was an electrical shortage and we were without power for almost an hour until we saw him walk by and made him aware of it, he blamed us for over using the hair dryer and causing it, however we used it once the day before, not that morning; he was short with us as well. He got yo early and made us breakfast. Overall, he was not approachable not friendly, maybe he was having a bad week. However the place is worth it"

"Es un hotel muy bonito el desayuno me encantó muy completo y las habitaciones cómodas. Su ubicaciones es quizá un poquito lejos pero el transporte de Berna lo resuelve además q te dan una tarjeta de transporte gratis"

"You can book, check in, and check out without ever speaking to another person… if that’s what you like, it’s great! We certainly missed the human contact. Otherwise, it’s a good place to stay. The fire alarm was triggered while we were here (no big deal, just an alarm), which isn’t a problem except the stairwell door wouldn’t open to the lobby without a key card even while the alarm was going off, which is pretty concerning considering a lot of folks didn’t have their keycard in their pyjamas at 22:00."
