"I stayed for one night and I thought this was a great option. The price was great for the location (just outside of the east side of Kyoto station). The hotel is like most of the APA hotels, except it has a sento (public bath) for the guests so I think that's a nice bonus. The rooms come with a bathtub so you can have a small bath and they have lots of amenities for you, like a hairband, water and more. What I think could be better is the bed. "I arrived at Kyoto Station at 6am, so I walked to the hotel. It took only 3-4 minutes from the station. The person (young lady) at front desk was not that friendly but was professional. They kindly hold my luggage until the check-in time. The room was compact but well designed, so the room size was good enough for one person.
