"The room was large and the bed comfortable. Good size bathroom. A fan was provided as no air-conditioning. The only downside was the window did not open and had a closed shutter on the outside. Not too much of a problem as only slept there but initially it felt a little claustrophobic. Great location. Would stay there again but only in a room with a window you could see out of and opened."

"Nice hotel, breakfast was really good. No actual beach and very remote. Pool was quite crowded especially as no beach. Late check in was annoying and the dogs and children were hot sat around waiting when it was 37 degrees outside. Staff were okay but not as helpful as you’d expect for the price."

"We stayed at the residence for 3 weeks, the staff and the director were very helpful, We are elderly, some of the rooms do not consider this, and this should in my opinion be made available. Hotels.com was useless in resolving our issue, spoke to a supervisor who was useless. plenty to say but did not resolve our problem. my wife and I resolved it by communicating with the directors, who then understood our issue and quickly resolved it. One important issue, the fire alarm was activated one evening around 2230 hrs, there was no emergency evacuation procedure, and this should be resolved, with clear instructions on all accommodation doors, with a larger noticeable procedure in the main reception area. John & Mary"

"Very clean room. Great amenities and good quality breakfast. For the price this hotel really surprised us! Really nice and perfect location for a short walk into La Rochelle old town. Stayed with two small children and was ideal!"
