This is exactly what a hotel should be. Lovely and helpful staff. Comfortable and serene environment. Location near town but just a few steps far enough away to be quiet. Best hotel on the island I would venture to say. What a treat to stay there. Thank you.

The owner/operator was absolutely lovely and her husband's (the chef) food was delicious. We were only there one night, but would definitely come again.

The hotel is in a nice area of town. The room was very clean and the bathroom was as well. We like this hotel. It is close to Paris, yet it is outside of the big city. The hotel is modern and new. We do not like old hotels which is difficult when you are in Europe.

The hotel is well located and very efficient. They only have limited parking on site, but you can park very close and pay by the day in spaces available to the public. Access to the town area is controlled, but the hotel can give you a code for access. (Quite important! Get the code before arrival) Nice pool on property. Breakfast was very pleasant and worthwhile. The chef will prepare eggs to order as well as other dishes. The rooms are not large, but comfortable and reasonably appointed. Beds...

The hotel is nicely located in the historic center of La Rochelle at a walking distance to the beach and to main attractions. The check in was very smooth and we got to meet Cecile (the owner) in person. Prior to the check in she shared with us a file about what to do and where to eat proposals in the city. Room was nice; just enough for 2 adults with AC and bathroom.
Cecile was nice enough to keep our luggage at premises after our check out.
I would recommend “un hotel en ville” if you are...
