"We (my wife, mum, sister, and niece) recently stayed at the villa and loved it. Whilst the property may not look like a show-home, it is very homely and a lot more spacious than photos show. Although there were 5 of us staying at the villa we didn't feel we were on top of each other and there was plenty of space if you wanted some time alone.The location of the villa is excellent and is about 5 minutes away from the beach and approximately 10 minute walk to the nearest (UK/US) style supermarket....

"We have stayed many times in the Harbour View area, however this was the best by far. Property was clean and very well equipped. Sid (the poolman and gardener) was very friendly and on hand should we need anything. Villa is ideally located for the beach, shops and restaurants - all in easy walking distance. Will definitely be looking to go back to this villa again. Thank you Jan for allowing us a short stay and hopefully will be in touch soon."

"Freeman’s Bay Villa is even more beautiful than the photos. We were struck by how gorgeous the views of Galleon Beach were as well as all of the sailboats in the bay and around the corner in English Harbor. Every night a gorgeous sunset. The hosts were lovely and met us at the property. The steep driveway was a bit challenging for our rental car (a Kia) but we got the hang of it after a day or two. The property is centrally located to what became some of our favorite beaches & the market was only a 10 minute drive. Its roughly a 7 minute walk to Anna's On the Beach (restaurant/bar) and they do offer lounge chairs for rent, or you can just bring your own towel, which the villa does provide. They have a few restaurants near by and we especially loved Marios. Ride to town is about 10 minutes. The host is extremely responsive to texts. She can recommend anything you ask. We accidentally misplaced our keys at night, and she came within 15min to let us in. Would def come...

"My wife and I spent a beautiful week in English Harbour and with good fortune landed at The Ocean Inn. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Robert and Annie were fantastic hosts—warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. We were on an exploratory mission searching for our forever home in Antigua and Robert and Annie were always ready to give us valuable intel on the area. Our room was a standalone cabin with a private bathroom and balcony that looked out over the stunning views of English Harbour. The dining area where we had breakfast always had the cool breezes blowing while we sipped coffee or drinks overlooking the amazing views of English harbour and all the way to top of Shirley heights. The shared pool was always inviting and overlooking the same awesome view. The honesty bar was a clever touch to grab a glass of rum to sip overlooking the harbour. We had rented a car and appreciated the on-site parking making exploring the island effortless. This place is a gem that has more character and personality than the big resorts. It’s in an amazing location—within walking distance of everything in English Harbour including groceries and just literally a few minutes drive to Galleon Beach and Shirley Heights. Sunset dinner at Loose Cannon is a must. Highly recommend Ocean Inn for your stay in Antigua."
