"Fabulous overnight stay. Fabrice was lovely and very helpful. House of Poppies was great. Clean and equipped with everything we needed. A nice bottle of red wine watching the sunset from the terrace was the perfect antidote to a long drive. Gardens were lovely for our dog to explore. Fab homemade breakfast. Thanks for a great stay! "

"The chalet is quite small, but very nice for a couple (and a dog). The garden and landscape is beautiful and quiet. The location is great for day trips via car or bike to the surrounding villages and towns, or for just relaxing in the wide and open garden area on lawn chairs. The landlady is a very pleasant person and fast to reply too. Definitely recommended and worth a visit."

"The staff were fabulous but in the evening you just were so short of staff for servicing the dining area and booking people in to the hotel … in fact I counted 2persons to do the check in, bar, and a busy restaurant for orders etc … so well done to them … the evening food was superb and breakfast was fine "
