"Excellent and clean with minimal noise despite the construction. The tub was a little deep compared to the bathroom floor but otherwise it was all amazing. The communal areas were clean and the staff was very helpful in calling cabs and assisting the Uber eats guy with finding me lol. There is a bus stop right down the street that will take you into town. "

"Good, affordable spot not far from the main hub of action. We got a room that opened up into a kitchen and living area with an extra bed for our son. Cold breakfast was perfect for us. Tea and coffee and fruit were always available. I wish there was a spot to hang wet towels. Hooks are needed or towel racks."

"Very comfortable room with sofa, and great view over Rusheen Bay from upstairs bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Directions to Guest House could be better. The sign 'Rusheen Bay Guesthouse' is not clear from the road, and the address given is confusing. It is not apparent that 'Cashelmara' in not a road, but a small housing estate. No road address is given in the Expedia description. It took us a while to find the place."

"Great place, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Only downside was it is a bit of a distance from town if walking 25-30 minutes maybe. Not an issue if you have a vehicle and only a minor if not."

Galway area visit

"We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel in the City of Galway and we were very pleased with the room, the amenities in the room as well as the services in the hotel. We ate at the bistro both evenings and the food and service was very good. There are lovely areas to sit and relax in the lobby areas as well as the gardens. There was also ample parking. We did not use the spa or pool. The area was safe and the centre of town was about a 30min walk but the boardwalk on the waterfront was closer. The property is well positioned for visiting the Galway area, the Wild Atlantic Way and Connemara areas. Also not that far to Ennis and Cliffs."
