My wife and I travelled to Cayo Levantado to celebrate her 40th birthday. This 5-Star resort deserves all 5 stars! Every detail in the resort is well designed with a modern chic experience and provides luxurious amenities. Due to our work schedules, we only stayed 2 nights, and it was worth every penny. As soon as you arrive to the Santo Domingo airport, there is a 2.5 hour private transfer to the port of Samana. From the port of Samana a short 10 minute private boat transfers you to this...

Loved the property and the location

The hotel and staff are really nice and in a great location and had a great view of the bay.

Excelente, no tengo queja alguna. Volveria con micho gusto.

A very pleasant bed and breakfast.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chalet Tropical! From the moment we arrived, the service was beyond exceptional—worthy of a 5-star hotel rating. Every detail was handled with care and genuine warmth. Chalet #1 is incredibly spacious and creatively designed. It’s a feast for the senses—crafted with beautiful woodwork, unique rustic furniture, and thoughtful artistic touches in every corner. Just look at these pictures! Every space felt like a handcrafted masterpiece. We especially loved having...

Super cute hotel. Private swim up pool in every room and breakfast included

Absolutely happy with my choice to stay here. Gated community with 24hr security, private beach just a short walk away, and the hotel restaurant serves delicious food and great drinks. You literally don't have to leave anywhere (except for food when restaurant is closed or snacks). Rooms were clean and new. Only thing, the shower had a really slow drain (even after service with plunger). Very close to Salto Limon and Las Terrenas restaurants. Great staff and always with a smile, especially...

Everything was good. Service was amazing.

Great place

The overall standard of Castillo Romano, and the extraordinary level of service offered by the staff, transcended my expectations! The staff's ability to connect with guests, and their relentless pursuit in ensuring I was happy, have made my stay here second to none! Other plus points as follows; - fantastic ocean view!! - Close to a pristine beach ( a 5 minute drive from the hotel ) - Grounds are meticulously maintained and the entire hotel is tastefully decorated - only a...

Service here is phenomenal. The people working here are very sweet and attentive to anything you need. Breakfast is included, and it's from 7-10:30 a.m. It was the highlight of my day since the young men cooking are very sweet and make omelets with much love. There are many other options you can enjoy. It is a short walk from the beach, and there are various beaches along the coast of Las Terrenas that you can enjoy. The reception was very welcoming and informational. She made sure we knew where...

Pool was impressive, room was neat, A/C works perfectly (not many places in DR heat work well). Able to make quick meals in the room. Good breakfast offering.
