"Ac was good , tv was broken, hot water didn't work , plugs were loose and front door didn't lock "

"Clean room, staff ok but manager extremely rude. Phones don’t work in rooms which should be a code violation towards guest safety. Toilet was clogged and they left it all day and then tried to say it was my fault as I didn’t stay to let them in even when they acknowledged the maintenance man forgot to come back in 20 minutes as someone was in shower and said I should have gone to let them know I was leaving my room for the day. They didn’t stop people from smoking in outside corridors even though they are a “100% smoke free establishment.” Allowed loud music after 11 pm. They will treat you like a criminal and ask for a $100 deposit even when you pay before arrival. They will only give it back after walking to your room to ensure all is well. Probably my fault for wanting to have a more economical stay that was arranged last minute for the weekend. I won’t stray from the nicer hotels beachside ever again. "

"When we got there, the staff was nice and checked us in quickly. However, as we got into our room there was a string smell of paint. Then there was mold in the bathroom on the ceiling and looked as if the ceiling fell apart. Then around the ac area was mold and moisture. I went to the front desk and asked if we could be moved to another room due to the smell. At first they stated no but then moved us to the second floor. When we got there, the room was a bit better. However, could hang our towels due to the towel rack being broken and barely on the wall. Then I couldn’t use two outlets, due to the mirror blocking it or it just didn’t work. The phone in the room didn’t even have numbers on it. When we turned the lights on it would flicker for about 1-2 minutes then it would stay on. Bathroom door didn’t either close or lock. Which we found very comical. When we went to eat breakfast, it was much smaller than the pictures showed and there was no room. But yet you couldn’t take the food to your room, per the signs placed around. You couldn’t tell who was staff or customer due to the way they were dressed. Either they were in workout clothes or jeans and crop top. Very over priced for the condition of the hotel, pictures definitely do not match what it actually is."
