"I have to start by giving kudos to William who works in the reception area who tried his best to give us our l room with an early check-in and the room was exceptional with balcony and great views on the eighth floor. It is a nice building and it’s very centrally located and you have views from the grand Via. The Neighbourhood is amazing who is plethora of bars, nightlife, tapas and walking distance to museums. The hotel can use an update some enovations, but otherwise the room was very clean and with hardwood flooring, which is a must for me. I hate wall to wall carpet. The bed was very comfortable. There was a spa on our floor and there was a musty smell. The spa is OK as well as the indoor pool. There is an OK gym. it is not by any means a luxury hotel. Staff is though very, very nice. I would’ve given to the hotel a higher rating if they had an espresso machine in the morning. They only offer complementary tea in the room, which for coffee drinkers is a negative. They did have instant coffee. For the European standards and espresso machine is a must. Otherwise they’re good stay."

"Besides the small room, Love the breakfast at the rooftop, the staffs were very friendly. Hotel is closed to different restaurants, bus stops, and a museum. If you have to check out but need to stay around for a few hours, the hotel staff offers you to take care of your luggage while you go around!! Love the eco friendly design! "

"A very comfortable hotel right in the heart of Madrid. Easily accessible by Metro, bus and on foot, with some really good markers around that will help you remember where your hotel is. If you love shopping you have easy access to a lot of them. if you want to attend theatre performances, again lots of theatres about. The City tour bus stops also outside when you do the old town route. What we loved is coming home to chocolates left for us by the turn down team. A sweet surprise after long days out. The room was cleaned every day, and were always left a small note to say who tidied things up. The room was super quiet despite the loud environment outside. The only thing that we found difficult to figure out is how to make the AC fan run at a slower rate, so we opted to use only the sheet as cover instead as the room was relatively warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you team for your superb service. "
