The villa is located in a very quiet area, offering complete privacy—you don’t notice the neighbors at all. "Wonderful cosy cottage deep in Monteverde. The drive from St Elena is worth it! There are lots of bugs at night but it is manageable. So many birds! So serene! Comfy beds. Yummy welcome food. Carlos was super kind and attentive, and took care of our needs (extra chair, longer clothing line for hanging our clothes). "

"Beautiful house, nice management, but the house is low maintenance. One of the bedrooms had ants which were not only on the floor, wall, but even in beds! For the 4 nights of our stay the management couldn’t make something treatable to kill insects. My kids should sleep 4 nights with ants, and one night my son was bitten until we figured what’s going on. Pool is big, but water is not filtered.
