"One of the reasons I booked this hotel was that it stated in the description that the suite contained a washer and dryer. It doesn’t. The laundry room is downstairs and it costs US$12 to wash and dry a load. The suite itself was huge with a very comfortable bed in a separate bedroom. The breakfast buffet was excellent and set up around the small pool. The area around the hotel wasn’t that nice, but a short walk took you to a large park and there were many restaurants near by. "Wonderful staff. Convience of a restaurant. Excellent breakfast and pizza. Had a pool. Excellent birds around and we heard monkeys most of the night and finally got to see them at sunrise. Definitely off the beaten path."

"We went here with another couple and enjoyed 2 junior suites next to one another without other rooms nearby. Everything was great: room, staff, food. We especially loved the birding tour with Julian Fernandez which started at 5:15 AM to look for quetzals (which we saw) and after breakfast we continued with the tour until 11. Julian was so knowledgable and took the time to explain many fascinating things about birds. This is definatly a bird watcher's paradise. I used the hot tub and even enjoyed...
