"This lodge and spa is located in a valley between two mountain ranges at about 5000 feet (compared to Monte Verde 4300 feet) and is considered to be within the range of cloud forest. When we arrived, we were checked in and the host was very nice but failed to give us clear information of how to navigate the privately owned cloud forest with very hilly resort location and four water falls all within the property. "This is the second night we stay and we're in a different room, it is very clean as the previous one and has all the same amenities. They were expecting us so the check in process was very fast. As this is our second stay, the neighborhood seems safe, and the hotel is very quiet. Also there's a mall nearby (2 min drive) where you can go to some restaurants (Taj mahalo was very good) and a supermarket. It's very close to the airport also (around 10-15 minute drive)"

Neighborhood is walkable. We spent a good amount of time walking back and forth to restaurants and it was completely safe. "
