"All staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were large and clean. There was a variety of delicious food at the hotel and also other options outside. Parking was in a free park a short walk from the hotel which was safe."

"Hayle is lovely with the nature reserve and beaches nearby. The Cornubia is near bus stops and I walked to the coast path and back via the harbour. Bar menu was good. Room is plain, spacious, clean and comfortable. Buses to St Ives, Penzance and Truro."

"We stayed here for one night as we had been to Lands End. We didn’t think there was much in Penzance so decided to go back to the inn for food. We had Fish and Chips and sat in the Garden as the weather was nice. The food was delicious. The staff very friendly and helpful. The Beds were comfy, bathroom a bit small but a great place to stay. "

"The Old Success Inn is in the most stunning location and the staff all tried hard to please . However, we thought the bedroom we booked was a deluxe room , which although looked great on first impressions, it had a few issues. Unfortunately, the bath tap dripped all day and night and you couldn’t fill the bath as there wasn’t enough water pressure. The shower wasn’t much better, especially if you have to wash your hair , it took ages to rinse. We live by the sea so are used to windows banging...

"Absolutely fantastic staff, excellent food which is well priced. Nice quiet location with good transport links to surrounding places. A really nice place to stay. We would visit again if we were in the area."

"Fantastic location and room 3 was quiet. Room was fine except there was no outlet for hairdryer next to a mirror. If you need or like to dry your hair in front of a mirror then this room isn’t for you. The staff were pleasant and the hotel was overall great bargain for what we paid. The hallways were honestly a mess and they need a revamp. You get what you pay for. The senior menu is offered to those over 60 y/o. Do not get the prawns and cold French fries. Prawns were fried and just like warm....
