"A really good hostel just outside the main city of Bergen but a short walk away to bus transport and also a small Bunnpris shop for food items, etc. Was perfect for my weekend in the area, especially with even being close to the Ulriken mountain tram/path to the summit - staff were helpful with check in/out, plus the shared female dorm room I stayed in was comfortable and with a good toilet/shower room and bunkbeds.

"We chose to stay at Breeze because of its location (walking distance to train station, town centre, etc), very short notice booking (so not many other suitable options), head-height (I didn’t want to sleep under a sloping roof like loft accommodation in some airbnbs) and also lower cost. On reflection, we more than spent what we had saved on food and drink, which could have been considerably cheaper if we’d had amenities like a fridge, kettle and microwave. But it advertises itself truly, so for what it was, it was quite good."
"My first trip to Norway and I hope to return but I will never stay at another Scandic hotel again. The Scandic Torget does not have enough tables in its restaurant. Two days running, I got up from my breakfast table to go and get another coffee, only to find that somebody had taken the table on my return and there wasn't a thing I could do about it. This is a problem particularly for solo travellers. What are we supposed to do? If we leave a bag, book or mobile phone to show the table is in use and it is stolen, the hotel will call us foolish for leaving it unguarded. I have travelled to 6 continents and I had NEVER previously been in the position where I had to argue/fight with other hotel guests over the right to sit at a table where I had already been seated!! This is a disgusting way for guests to be treated. It doesn't matter that one hour at breakfast might be busier than others, a hotel should still have an adequate number of tables. My advice to people heading for Bergen is to book inn at the Radisson or any other hotel rather than Scandic."
"Very beautiful boutique hotel in the center of town right next to the harbor. Really good breakfast in the beautiful dining room. We easily got to each part of town from the hotel and we were surrounded by restaurants. Really good location. The staff were all very nice and helpful"
